Recent power interruptions are due to salt and dirt build-up on power equipment, specifically insulators, as a result of dry weather. When moisture (like mist or dew) settles on this build-up, it can trigger brief outages. These interruptions may be momentary (lasting only a few seconds) or longer. Our system works to restore power quickly, but sometimes it takes multiple attempts. In an effort to help reduce further outages, we’re washing insulators in targeted locations on the Lower Yorke Peni
