PALATINE, Ill. (WLS) -- On Saturday, Aug. 22, police and firefighters battle it out through an obstacle course challenge in Palatine. This year you can not only cheer them on - you can also take part.

For one day, Greenwood-area youth can see if they have what it takes to be a firefighter. The Greenwood Fire Department is holding its Kids Firefighter Challenge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
