More showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday night and overnight into Friday. There’s also a chance for severe weather. The highest risk for severe storms will be west of U.S. 23. Temperatures in Southeast Michigan will rise into the 60s by late Thursday. Areas round Detroit could see 70 degrees.
Shower and non-severe thunderstorm chances return tonight. Isolated storms will be capable of wind gusts up to 50 mph and heavy rainfall. Isolated flash flooding will be the primary threat. We turn sharply colder Easter Sunday with high in the 40s and stay below average through early next week.
